What to Expect
Your day with us…
We all know that the Italians are famous for their warm and friendly hospitality, so what is more warming than greeting our clients, who we welcome as guests with a typical Italian breakfast.
The most important meal of the day they say, alongside lunch and dinner of course!

Our aim is to give our guests the confidence they need to prepare great Italian food and reproduce that in their own kitchen.
We stop the food preparation around noon and have a glass of Italian wine or Prosecco** with more food tasting. It is important to me that our guests have a true idea of the textures and flavours they are encountering on our day together.
While you are enjoying breakfast…
We explain how your day is about to unfold and give you handouts on the beautiful menu of the day – alongside some history and education about the ingredients and dishes you are about to prepare.
I like my guests to understand from the onset what it actually means to prepare a meal, bake a cake or revel in the art of making Italian bread so I lead them through the whole lesson allowing them to prepare all the ingredients from the start to the finish.
I love a traditional Italian Breakfast*…
and the Ama la Vita breakfast is always special!
It usually includes a freshly baked breakfast cake and something savoury from Emiglia Romagna; the region I lived and studied in for many years.

WE WANT OUR GUESTS TO HAVE A TRULY AUTHENTIC CULINARY EXPERIENCE
We then continue in the kitchen until we have prepared the full menu. At this point it is time to sit, enjoy the food and reflect on the day, the recipes and wonderful tastes created.
